Simply Christianity
Finding out about Christianity is at the heart of this short, informal course. Starting on 7th October, for 5 weeks, join with others if you would like to find out more about Jesus and the Christian faith. This may be just the opportunity you have been waiting for to air all your doubts and questions, in a totally unpressured environment. The course is based entirely on Luke’s gospel with additional valuable information on the historical reliability of the gospels, Old Testament predictions, and the resurrection.
Block out the 5 Tuesday evenings in your diary now, encourage others to attend with you, phone David or Sarah Brock (838564) for more details.

Coffee@Judi's
We are a small friendly group, meeting fortnightly,
currently on Tuesday mornings 9.15am – 11.00am. From October we will be looking
together at a new book called “What women really want need”. Here is what
it says on the cover:
In a world where so much is on offer, what do women really need? What will satisfy our deepest longings? Contentment, stability, love and acceptance all seem elusive, and yet the writers of this book make an intriguing claim – to know where such vital things can be found! In this engaging collection of personal stories and thought-provoking articles, real women share their insights into the significance of Jesus. With humour and honesty, they look at the impact he can make in every woman's life.
We will use the chapters of the book to trigger our discussions – which will no doubt range wide and free as they have thus far. If you would like to contribute your own views or have questions big or small you would be particularly welcome to join us for coffee and a chat. We can provide a créche if needed.
For more details please contact Judi Brett (838167) or Liz Halliday (838699)
